About the Library We believe that information literacy and research strategies are best taught within the context of the class assignment. The library staff assists teachers and students with all reference needs from planning technology use to class projects and research needs. Library Checkout Three books may be checked out for two weeks. Magazines can be checked out for five days. The fine for overdue materials is ten cents per day. Library Databases Links to the library's databases can be found under the the library tab on the links page on the Hanna webpage. Please see Mrs. John or Mrs. Nieto for the usernames and passwords for these databases. Library Passes The library is open and available for students before and after school and during lunch. Students are required to have passes to use the library during class time. Passes can be obtained from any teacher. Computer Use - You must have internet permission in order to use a computer for word processing or the Internet, a student must sign in at the front desk and sit at the assigned computer. Only 10 free copies of educational material are allowed. All other documents are 10 cents per page. |
